Initial Intake Counseling Session: $150 (60 minutes)
Individual Counseling Session: $125 (50-55 minutes)
Do you accept insurance?
Inspired Light Counseling is a self-pay practice and does not submit claims directly to insurance companies.
This allows me to offer more personalized, high-quality care without the restrictions that often come with insurance companies— such as requiring a diagnosis, limiting confidentiality, or determining the type and number of sessions allowed.
Benefits of self-pay include:
⬥ Greater privacy, as no mental health diagnosis is required
⬥ Full control over your treatment plan without insurance limitations (or requests to review your medical record)
⬥ Flexibility in how we structure your care based on your unique needs
And HANDS DOWN, the biggest benefit to working with a self-pay counselor is:
⬥ When you make a greater financial investment into your mental health, you’re more likely to also make a greater investment into the counseling process. Because you have chosen to make a bigger commitment towards your own transformation, you are significantly more likely to get the results you are looking for and create long lasting changes in your life. If you have out-of-network (OON) benefits, you may be able to receive partial reimbursement from your insurance provider if you choose. In that case, you would pay me directly and submit a claim on your own. I’m happy to provide a Superbill (a detailed receipt) to support that process upon request.

Start the Process
1. Schedule a Session
Please contact me via email, phone, or through the contact form on my website to schedule an initial session. Once we have found a mutually convenient time, I will send you the intake forms via an online portal. Forms must be completed at least 48 hours prior to the initial session.
2. Initial Intake Session
The primary focus of the initial session is for us to get to know each other and determine whether we will be a good fit working together. We will discuss the issue/s that prompted you to seek counseling, your history, and your goals for counseling during this session.
3. Ongoing Sessions
During ongoing sessions, we will be digging deeper into your psyche and subconscious. This is where we can identify problematic thinking patterns and unhelpful beliefs so that we can reframe and release what is not benefiting you.
